Jr. Timed Event Championships

The Carter Robertson Memorial Junior Timed Event Championships always prove to be an exciting event and this year will be no different. Young County Arena will host the event on May 10 – 11, 2014. Events include: 

  • Team Roping Head Runs
  • Team Roping Heel Runs
  • Steer Chute Dogging Runs
  • Tie Down Calf Runs

All proceeds go to the Carter Tarrant Robertson Charitable Foundation which has awarded over $55,000 in scholarships since 2011.

Graham Stampede

ReiningAssocDon’t miss the Graham Stampede featuring Mark Miller Reining Horse Association. This show will be held at the Young County Arena
from May 2 – 4, 2014.The Heart O’ Texas Reining Horse Association was formed in 2007 in Waco, Texas for reining enthusiasts.  Reining, a western performance horse sport discipline that requires a horse to perform athletic maneuvers at both relaxed and extreme speed requires a horse with a lot of “handle”.

Red River Cutting Horse Show

RedRiverThe Young County Arena will host the Red River Cutting Horse Show in the main arena on April 18-19, 2014. RRHC is committed to providing a wholesome atmosphere for individuals and families to enjoy and exhibit their horses in halter, riding and cutting classes. They encourage participation by amateurs, as well as professionals, with Open, Amateur, Youth and Junior Youth divisions.

Events begin at 8:00am. Come out and join the fun.

The Kids Junior Rodeo Associate serves the North Central Texas area. KJRA has been successfully producing quality student athletes in the world of rodeo for over 15 years.

    2014 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo!

    FtWorthStockShowLogoThe 2014 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo kicks off January 17, 2014 and runs through February 8, 2014 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

    One of the many missions of the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is to promote continuing improvement in the breeding, raising and marketing of livestock and to encourage the pursuit of excellence generally throughout the livestock and agriculture industries. The connection with the livestock industry has been strong since the beginning when a group of cattlemen gathered on the banks of Marine Creek for the first Fort Worth Stock Show 118 years ago. The long-standing traditions of the Stock Show are maintained as we continually strive to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of the industry.

    Stock Show Admission Information

    Tickets for admission to the Stock Show grounds can be purchased upon arrival.

    General admission tickets permit access to all livestock events, educational programs, commercial exhibits and carnival/midway.

    Adults: $10
    Children 6 – 16: $5
    Children 5 & Under: free

    Each Rodeo Ticket is good for your General Admission to the grounds on the day of the performance.
